Khorasan Flour, also known as Kamut flour, is made from a wheat grain and is commonly used to make bread. It has also proven to be a flour suitable for other bakes such as cookies, pizza bases and cakes. It is made from high quality Australian grown Khorasan wheat grains.

Khorasan Flour AKA Kamut is gaining popularity, both as a grain and flour, due to its high nutrition levels and superior flavour. It is high in zinc, magnesium, B vitamins, Vitamin E, protein, amino acids and essential fatty acids. It is highly water soluble, therefore the grain’s vital substances can be absorbed quickly by our bodies.

Khorasan AKA Kamut also has a higher content of protein than regular wheat. It is also easier to digest than wheat and some people with wheat sensitivities may tolerate it in their diet, although it is not gluten free. It contains 0% fructose which makes it ideal for people who have fructose malabsorption.
